Orlando’s new city ordinance has me in stitches. They’ve posted signs that say: “Do not lie or otherwise be in a horizontal position on a park bench do not sleep or remain in any shrubs, bushes, or foliage.”
Note they do not say “do not lie or otherwise be in a horizontal position under a park bench” nor do they tell you not to sleep or remain in clusters of rocks, or in the branches of trees lacking foliage. I wonder how many people will lie down under park benches and build nests in bare trees?
If I lived in or near Orlando, I’d certainly be tempted.
