Explored and used a number of innovative food creations: flavored olive oil wrapped in tiny algae skins to look like caviar, meltable, edible sheets of seasonings to lay on hot foods for an extra burst of flavor, spice-infused skewers, edible skewers, cellophane papillotes, foamed foods as flavor enhancers and garnishes.
Drummed up interest in a Krewe do Zieux – may happen next year.
Explored writing a paranormal romance.
Wrote and published a book on dying and death.
Started the Faux Paws Brewery.
Shared recipes for healthy homemade pet foods.
Worked at MedFaire and SoonerCon, played at ConEstoga and FenCon.
Worked at and bought too many books at the Friends of the Library Book Sale.

Lost my voice for almost 6 months due to a bizarre allergy reaction.

Tended my dying Mother and helped settle her estate.

Provided power to 4 households that went without power for 11 days.
Provided housing for 3 families whose homes were without power for 9 days.
Bought three sets of tires for vehicles I don’t own.
Traveled to El Paso to be with new daughter-in-law when she had surgery.
Helped train 2 dogs for hearing assistance, with the help of Itzl.
Explored a dozen other journaling sites. May settle on WordPress.com, as it seems to best suit my needs and I like their ToS.
Continued to champion veriloquy in spite of receiving a lot of flak about keeping disputed words in circulation.
